1 cup sugar
1 T light corn syrup
1/3 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1 T butter
1/8 tsp maple flavoring
2 cup nuts
Combine sugar, corn syrup, water and salt. Bring to a boil and cook with out stirring to soft ball stage(236 degrees). Remove from heat. Stir in butter and flavoring. Add nuts and stir gently until mixture loses glass and becomes opaque and creamy. Pour onto waxed paper or buttered baking sheet. Quickly separate nuts.
